PT HATFIELD INDONESIA (PTHI) is seeking an experienced Indonesian Environmental Specialist for our Bogor office. PTHI is a well established (1990) and growing environmental consulting company that offers excellent career opportunities for highly motivated individuals in both domestic and international environmental markets.
The selected individual will work in a team of Environmental Specialists/Scientists that is responsible for the design and delivery of environmental assessment and monitoring services to our extensive client base. He/she is also expected to leading several AMDAL, UKL/UPL projects, in collaboration with other experienced Indonesian and expatriate staff.
SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of multi-disciplinary environmental teams including sub-consultants;
- Management of baseline environmental assessment and monitoring programs, including study design, statistical analysis and reporting;
- Ensuring environmental compliance of project activities with all relevant government of Indonesia regulations;
- Manage client relationships, project budgets and ensure projects are completed to the highest technical and professional standards; and
- Lead the successful development of proposals and initiate marketing lead, in collaboration with Senior Management.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an environmental discipline, or any related fields such as biology, chemistry, fisheries, forestry or soil from a reputable university;
- Minimum 10 years experience working on design, delivery, analysis and reporting of environmental projects in environmental consultancy;
- Certificates such as AMDAL B, Environmental Lead Auditor or other related training;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good network of contacts from environmental organizations and the business community;
- Familiar with Indonesian environmental regulations for numerous sectors, particularly mining, oil and gas, forestry, and industry;
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong writing and analytical skills; and
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
